In addition to the buffet, Sahanranta restaurant has an á la carte menu, which offers high-quality dishes for many tastes. In accordance with customer requests, pizzas made in a stone oven have also returned to the menu – the perfect choice for a more relaxed meal.
We strive to use as many producers from Kuhmoinen and the surrounding areas as possible in our raw material purchases. For example, Päijänne vendace is supplied by Kalayhtymä Kääpä, which is located a stone’s throw from Sahanranta.
The restaurant has plenty of seating both in the cozy, air-conditioned interior and on the large terrace, which offers a direct view of Kuhmoinen’s award-winning guest marina.

A new dish on the menu for summer 2026 is called Chicken of Sahanranta, the recipe for which originates from Haukkasalo in Kuhmoinen.
